JCTC Allied Health and Nursing building
The Allied Health and Nursing building was
funded by the 2006 General Assembly and will cost $25.6 million
to construct and furnish. Construction is expected to begin in
early June and take about 18 months to complete. The 100,000
square-foot building, which will contain classrooms,
laboratories, faculty offices and study space, is scheduled to
open for the Fall 2010 semester.

VTI Building Entrances: Once construction begins
entrances on the south side of the VTI building (those facing
campus) will be closed. During construction, the VTI building
can be accessed only through the doors facing Chestnut Street.

Parking: Student parking will not be affected by the
building construction.
The
faculty/staff lot along Second Street is in the construction
zone and will be closed for the duration of the project.
Faculty and staff parking remains available in the Broadway
Lot, Gray Street Lot and in the JEC Garage.
Disability
parking is available for Faculty and Staff on the north side of
the VTI, along Chestnut Street. Additional disability parking is
being developed.

Early Childhood Development Center: Access to the
Early Childhood Development Center is through the West Entrance
to the VTI along Chestnut Street. Drop-off and pick-up parking
is available at the West Entrance.
