NOTE: As of October 2010, the JCTC Southwest
Campus has a full-time, professional
transfer advisor who will advise engineering transfer students! Prof. Graney will continue to advise those
students who he has been advising in the past, and his advising information (scroll down) will remain on the web
(although some material will grow out of date – especially since KCTCS is
changing the numbers on many courses).
However, the new “go-to” person for engineering transfer students is Julie

These
pages have been created by Prof. Chris Graney of the JCTC Technology
and Related Sciences (TARS) division.
Prof. Graney and the TARS division are located on the Southwest Campus
of JCTC. Prof. Graney serves as advisor
to students who intend to pursue a career in engineering and who intend to take
courses at JCTC and then transfer to a four-year college, usually UofL or UK,
to complete further studies in the engineering area. These pages are intended
as an advising aid for those JCTC students, but the information available here
will be helpful to any student who is interested in the engineering field and
who is attending or planning to attend a KCTCS community college. Contact Prof. Graney at christopher.graney@kctcs.edu.
