The SW student life committee met at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 22.  The only item on the agenda was the Spring Fling.  We chose the date of April 7.  We discussed which of last year’s activities we wanted again, plus any new ideas.  We wanted Chris to do his telescope demonstration again; to have either a band, or a battle the bands – John and Pam will monitor this; Pizza, probably from Home Town again -- Candi will find out the particulars from last year; we wanted to add a free throw contest – there is a goal behind the maintenance area, but it would be nice to have a portable one; Pam will see if there is an art show planned again this year at the same time; we hope Chanda and her outreach people will have a table with JCC giveaways again; maybe Mel and staff will want to have a bake sale again.  Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 8, at 3:00 pm, in the BUS building conference room.
